Positions Available

Postdoctoral Fellow(s) in Protein Mass Spectrometry

As part of our newly funded NHGRI Center of Excellence in Genomics Science (Wisconsin CEGS, http://www.wisconsincegs.org), we are developing proteomic tools and technologies to interrogate DNA-protein interactions, and to investigate the role of proteins in the regulation of gene expression and function.

We are recruiting Postdoctoral Fellows with a Doctoral degree in chemistry or biochemistry with prior knowledge and expertise in protein mass spectrometry and instrumentation.

Prior knowledge of isotopic labeling approaches for peptide quantification and iontrap MS instrumentation (especially Thermo LTQ Orbitrap) as well as analysis of protein PTMs would be beneficial.

Positions are available immediately.

To apply for a position, please provide a curriculum vitae, and names and telephone numbers of three references in a single PDF document. For application materials or questions and/or information regarding the position, please contact Dr. Michael Olivier (molivier@mcw.edu) or Theresa Lins (tlins@mcw.edu).

Postdoctoral Fellow(s) in Technology Development

As part of our newly funded NHGRI Center of Excellence in Genomics Science (Wisconsin CEGS, http://www.wisconsincegs.org), we are developing proteomic tools and technologies to interrogate DNA-protein interactions, and to investigate the role of proteins in the regulation of gene expression and function.

We are recruiting Postdoctoral Fellows with an interest in technology development in genomics and/or proteomics, and in novel approaches to human disease genetics.

We are looking for interested individuals with a Ph.D. in molecular biology, biomedical engineering, genetics, or related field, with an interest in technology and human genetics and genomics. Past experience in working with yeast, protein analysis in mammalian cells, or in human disease genetics would be advantageous but is not required.
