As part of our newly funded NHGRI Center of Excellence in Genomics Science (Wisconsin CEGS, http://www.wisconsincegs.org), we are developing proteomic tools and technologies to interrogate DNA-protein interactions, and to investigate the role of proteins in the regulation of gene expression and function.
We are recruiting Post-Doctoral Fellows with a Doctoral degree in chemistry or biochemistry with prior knowledge and expertise in protein mass spectrometry and instrumentation.
Prior knowledge of isotopic labeling approaches for peptide quantification and iontrap MS instrumentation (especially Thermo LTQ Orbitrap) as well as analysis of protein PTMs would be beneficial. Positions are available immediately.
For further information or to apply for a position, please contact Dr. Michael Olivier (molivier@mcw.edu).
